Invitation to participate in training WHAT CAN YOU (TH) DO? under the Erasmus + program for Empowering Youth through Active Citizenship in Portugal (18-25 May 2022) We are looking for young people (16-30 years old) who like to work in a team, are interested in participating in political processes and speak English.

The Impact Drive Foundation offers an opportunity for young people (16-30 years old) to take part in international training under the Erasmus + program. It will take place in Portugal between 18 and 25 May and aims to motivate young people to take part in political life, to be informed and involved in what is happening in the world and to be active citizens.

 

The training will take place in Castelo Novo, one of the 10 famous historic villages in Portugal. Castelo Novo is a typical medieval village, famous for its medieval castle, its mineral springs and the church of Misericórdia.

 

Participants from Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Spain and Romania will take part in the training. The working language is English. Accommodation and meals are provided, travel expenses up to 350 euros for the travel from Bulgaria to Portugal in the are covered.

 

What to expect from WHAT CAN YOU (TH) DO training ?:

  • It will teach young people how to to be active citizens and promote their overall personaldevelopment as active citizens in diverse and democratic societies, getting more youngpeople to take part in social projects, especially in decision-making processes;
  • It will encourage and equip young people with the necessary resources to become active citizens,agents of solidarity and positive change inspired by EU values and European identity;
  • It will enable young people to be architects of their own lives, support their personal developmentand growth to autonomy, build their resilience and equip them with life skills to cope with achanging world;
  • It will onnect young people from different backgrounds and countries to listen to and appreciateeach others' ideas and experience, endorsing intercultural understanding, democracy,respect, diversity, human rights, active citizenship, and solidarity;

The training will be conducted with the methods of non-formal education and using game approaches. Each participant will receive a YOUTHPASS certificate, which they can attach to their CV.
