Values in Action: Sustainable Civil Sector for Democratic and European Bulgaria

Within the context of the series of crises that we face over the past years – health, economic, humanitarian, (geo)political the role of civil society organizations (CSOs), and the values that lead them in their work at the frontline, are becoming increasingly important topics for our society’s ability to counter challenges.

The "Values in Action" event will introduce us to CSOs’ representatives who work tirelessly towards protecting human rights, the rule of law, freedom, and achieving equality. We will learn first-hand about their experience and successes, but also about the challenges they face in their attempts to achieve social change.

To respond to these challenges BFW, BCNL, and Impact Drive united efforts to provide CSOs with 360-degree support, adapted to their specific needs and context and worth nearly BGN 5.5 million – co-funded by the European Union.

During the "Values in Action" event, we will present the BIRDS in BG partner initiative, within which we will provide different forms of funding for the organizations‘ activities (up to BGN 117,000 per organization), as well as opportunities to build and upgrade capacity among their teams. We are confident that these two types of support are inextricably linked and will have a major positive impact on the stability and sustainability of civil society organizations!

We start on 6 April /Thursday/ at 9:30 AM.

In person at the premises at 3 Hristo Belchev Str., Sofia. Spaces at the in-person event are limited, so we encourage you to reserve yours at your earliest convenience by selecting the "present" option in the registration form.
