Which is more important - to manage intuitively, guided by your cause, or to look for a rofessional in organizational management? Sober expertise or experience based on mistakes along the way?

Almost everyone involved in running a non-profit organization has come to the above questions. To these, and regardless of their response, we should add the dynamics of the environment and the civil sector over the last 20 years, the characteristics of its funding and the hiring of teams.

We start the autumn season with the theme of NGO management to pay tribute to the professionals (and sometimes only volunteers) who are at the helm of organizations and manage them in murky and ever-changing waters, often with minimal resources, but with great number of needy and problems seeking solutions.

With the clear awareness that this is the first episode of a long series, we emphasize the topics in the conversation:

  • The challenges of being a leader in an ever-changing environment
  • Working with people (team, volunteers, etc.)
  • The balance in work and burnout
  • Shared practices and lessons

The conversation will include:
